- The challenge
- Improve discovery across dining, nightlife and private-event searches in Columbus.
- Outcome

- Our contribution
- Improved the existing landing page and technical search setup, then coordinated page content and Google Business Profile work around dining, nightlife, and event discovery.
- Basis for this account
- Keyword ranking reports, Google Business Profile performance data from five months into the campaign, and client-reported business outcomes. The client-reported reservation increase has no specified comparison period or attribution method in the available case records.

The challenge
Galla Park Social needed to be discoverable to people looking for dining and nightlife in Columbus’s Short North, as well as businesses and groups researching private events. The campaign addressed these different audiences through targeted local searches.
Improve the existing journey from discovery to action
The work focused on improving the existing website and local search presence. Landing-page changes helped visitors understand the venue’s offering and take the next step; technical and on-page SEO helped search engines find and understand that information.
Targeting dining, nightlife, and event searches supported discovery among people who were looking for an experience or venue, as well as those already searching for Galla Park Social by name.
What we changed
InterPro IT Consultants improved the existing website and managed its local search presence. Our work included:
- Landing-page improvements to help visitors understand the offering and take the next step.
- In-depth technical and on-page SEO: improved the website’s technical setup and page content to help search engines find and understand its services.
- Google Business Profile management to support local discovery.
- Targeting dining, nightlife and event searches, including restaurant, DJ and bottle-service terms.
- Keyword reporting to compare search positions and guide further improvements.
Early progress in Google search
About two months into the campaign, "short north restaurant" was recorded on Google’s first page at position ten, having appeared on page five at an earlier check.
Discovery beyond the venue name
Five months into the campaign, Google Business Profile performance data showed searches bringing up the venue included "short north restaurants", "restaurants", "restaurants columbus ohio" and "restaurants near me". These terms showed discovery beyond searches for the venue by name.
Search and Maps visibility in the sixth month
The sixth-month ranking report recorded results across two types of visibility:
- Google Maps: "short north restaurant" was recorded with first-page Maps visibility.
- Google search: "short north nightlife" was recorded on page one at position six, compared with position nine at the first-month check.
Client-reported business results
The client reported a 69% increase in table reservations, a significant increase in calls to the venue and packed events.
The reservation increase is a client-reported result. The available case records do not specify its comparison period or attribution method, so it should not be read as a measured increase caused solely by this campaign.
