The business need

TelAssurance, a US-based telehealth provider, needed to explain its membership and services more clearly and reach prospective members in Ohio through Google. Its public website had a single main page, with a separate system for member access and appointments.

The first decision was how to improve the public website while keeping the existing member and appointment system in place.

Improve the public journey while retaining the care system

The work focused on the public website: explaining the offer, publishing service and location information, and helping visitors take the next step. The existing member and appointment system stayed in place.

WordPress provided publishing tools for ongoing content updates. Links guided visitors to membership, appointments, and member access; enquiry forms and live chat gave the client’s team additional ways to respond. These were website links and enquiry handoffs, rather than a replacement or rebuild of the care platform.

Delivery and responsibilities

We rebuilt the public website so service information and marketing content could be updated more easily, while retaining the existing member and appointment system. WordPress provided the publishing tools, with clear links to join, book appointments and access member accounts.

The client reviewed the content and branding, and its existing tech team supported launch and continued managing the care system.

  • Wrote service and location pages and improved how search engines could find and understand them.
  • Organized navigation around the services and the steps prospective members needed to take.
  • Maintained service details, images and availability information, including answers requested for the client’s certification process.

Turning visits into enquiries

We added offers, enquiry forms and live chat, with notifications to the client’s team when new enquiries arrived. These gave visitors clear ways to ask questions and explore membership, and helped the team follow up.

We also ran social media advertising and updated the client’s social and video channels to support the wider campaign.

Client-reported memberships and further improvements

In an early update four months into the campaign, the client reported two retail membership sign-ups from Google in targeted locations.

The client also reported positive feedback on the redesigned website. We reviewed search performance and website activity to guide further content work, including weight-management information and frequently asked questions.
